Greyhound racing is a fun, family-friendly, accessible sport with a proud history and loyal fanbase of all ages and backgrounds. So whether you’re new to the sport of greyhound racing and greyhound ownership, or you want to rediscover the joys and excitement of seeing these graceful animals doing what they do best, then we’re here to help you.
We are Michelle Brown Greyhounds, professional greyhound trainers with 80 to 90 dogs currently kennelled with us and at various stages of their racing career. We rear and train racing greyhounds at our stunning facilities based in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire. We apply the highest standards of safety and welfare, following or exceeding all the mandatory rules and guidelines laid down for our industry, including injury recovery and rehoming of retired greyhounds.
Our family have been breeding and training greyhounds for over 20 years, so we know a thing or two about what makes a successful team. Our greyhound facilities provide a relaxed and friendly working environment which allows us to consistently produce winners at our home track in Romford and in Open Races at other greyhound tracks.
A great social event for greyhound owners
Greyhound racing is a simple sport to understand, and owning a greyhound is surprisingly affordable with plenty of options for shared ownership and syndicates. Plus it’s always an enormous thrill watching your very own greyhound take part in a race!
Our owners – and their dogs! – are like a part of our family and as an owner you can visit the kennels every Sunday, or on other days by appointment, to walk your dog and get updates from us on their progress. Plus throughout the year we organise Syndicate Days at the track where you can watch the races with your friends over a great meal, plus “Kennel Days” where we all get together and chat all things greyhound.
