Welcome to Michelle Brown Greyhounds. We are professional greyhound owners, trainers and breeders based in Wisbech in Cambridgeshire close to the Norfolk border. Over the last 20 years we have established a fine kennel of dogs along with a strong client base of enthusiastic and loving owners. Originally owned by Hazel and Michael Kemp, the reigns of the business have now been handed over to their daughter Michelle.

Our kennels boast all the latest facilities, with two-acre long grass field so that the dogs can be easily moved outside as needed, and they’re useful for greyhounds recovering from injury, galloping or just free running for any greyhound. We have pigs on one side and lambs on the other, so the dogs have plenty to look at and explore! We also have access to a nearby swimming pool that we use for rehabilitation. There’s a schooling track just 20 minutes away with walking machines that we use for the early stages of puppy training.

Many owners have been with Michelle and her parents for over 20 years and our special kennel visit days are always very busy! You will see between 30 and 40 owners on site, many with children, walking their dogs and chatting with each other, creating a warm, friendly and family environment.

An important part of training greyhounds is a good back-up team and Michelle has a team of five full-and part-time permanent staff supporting her, with other trained helpers on call if needed. The kennelling facilities and exercise areas together with the superb location create a first-class environment for a greyhound to thrive. Any dog in training here enjoys a relaxed and efficient routine, the best of attention possible, a well-balanced diet, and has access to expert veterinary and physio services. Our well-trained staff ensure every greyhound gets the treatment they require. 

We’ve been producing graded runners and winners for decades and Michelle and her team are always on hand to offer advice to potential owners.
